ZG Producitons loves quality music and loves to follow the budding careers of new talented musicians and recording artists!  Recently we have been listening to a lot of 21, the latest album of the 22 year old London native, Adele.  Although Adele is not exactly brand new to the music scene (her debut album, 19 won 2 Grammys in 2008), we want to recognize her impressive accomplishments by featuring her in today’s post!  She is becoming more popular in the US as each day passes, and her sophomore album, 21 recently broke Madonna’s record of holding the number one spot on the UK album chart by a female artist for the longest amount of time! The album 21 beat Madonna’s 1990 album, The Immaculate Collection by keeping the number one position for a period of 10 weeks!  What an enormous accomplishment for such a young artist with only her second album!

In a time when much of the music on the radio is packed full of fun lyrics and auto-tune, it can be refreshing to hear someone with pure and raw emotion belting out a heartfelt love song about their broken heart.  Adele’s 21 is just that—refreshing.  She wrote the album when she was 21 about her experience of a recent failed relationship.  Her vulnerability along with her smooth voice and honest lyrics prove to be the perfect recipe for a truly beautiful and moving album.
